Freelance journalist, The Hollywood Reporter, Travel + Leisure, and other pubs. I was @StyleWriterNYC over at the bad place. Also a survivor of one of many failed versions of the felon’s ego magazine. Yes, it was as bad as you think. I have stories.

Trump: "We have photographs or tapes -- like moving cameras, right? -- where people are on the side cutting it with a box knife."

1. This New York Post cover: “Thousands of 9/11 families demand Mamdani be banned from 25th-Anniversary” is a brazen lie. How do I know? I interviewed the organizer of the petition.

Three things I know to be true: — Mitch McConnell will never again arrive at the Capitol in a vertical position. #SorryNotSorry — If you write about Joe vs writing about the mental state of the guy who falls asleep in public daily, you’re an unreliable source. — 98 days until the midterms. #Vote

Trump traded GEO Group and CoreCivic stocks, two private prison corporations, nearly 30 times in 2025. GEO Group’s profits increased by 700% that year and CoreCivic raked in $650 million in ICE contracts — both benefiting Trump’s stock portfolio. Cashing in on his own cruelty.

Under Trump: -Household electricity costs are up 18% -Ground beef prices are up 22% -Gas prices are up 40% -ACA out-of-pocket premiums are up 58% -Inflation is at a three-year high Tired of "winning" yet?

Mitch McConnell hasn’t been seen or heard from in 6 weeks(!) in the hospital. Yet he still has a job, still getting paid, and getting unlimited world class healthcare. The man who voted against a living wage, against universal healthcare, and against guaranteed paid leave—is now getting all three.

Who else starts to read a headline like this and isn’t at all surprised when the phrase “private equity” pops up? I’d love to know if private equity has ever really helped anyone long-term — other than private equity, that is. Dental practices, veterinarians, and now child care. What else?

Eight of the ten largest child-care companies in the country are owned by private equity, as are a number of other child-care chains in the city. Under this model, the only substantial way to increase profit is to charge parents more while providing less.

I miss knowing there's an Anthony Fauci in charge of health. A Hillary Clinton or Antony Blinken handling things internationally. A Pete doing things for transportation. A Lloyd Austin handling defense. A Haaland protecting our lands. I miss knowing adults are in the room. Or at least non-traitors.

Intentionally concealing the death of a U.S. senator to manipulate legislative business or the succession process could expose those involved to serious federal criminal charges. No one gets to hide a death for political gain.

Taken tonight in Georgia, an unretouched Getty photo of a sweaty, makeup-laden orange monster with a ridiculously spare and straw-like combover. He’s the walking version of all the tacky gold he’s splashed onto every available surface. For all that’s good and true, please let it be over soon.

Sweaty gross Trump.

I’m calling for a moratorium on data centers until Florida has real protections for our water, air, communities, economy, and privacy. Byron Donalds wants to rush them onto pristine land while dismissing the consequences. That’s not leadership. Florida deserves better.

We had a deal It was working He blew it up He chose this war He personally owns all the death and destruction It has never been clearer in our history He’s an evil maniac and he needs to be stopped Vote goddammit

If I were a relative or friend of one of the 18 American service-members Donald killed, I would be *incensed* that a man too selfish and scared to serve—when it was required by law—is minimizing those deaths. I can't image how angry I would be if I were a parent of one of 156 schoolgirls killed.
