We completed paired reading. These reading books will also be in bags to read at home.
During outdoor learning we used natures resources to make our own artistic creations.
We worked collaboratively to create a moving object using knex. Some very inventive designs, including a shopping trolley.
A big thank you to Laurieston Bowling Club for putting on a session for us today and introducing us to the basics of bowls. We had a great afternoon and learned it was not as easy as it looks. Some fantastic future bowlers 👍
In STEM we followed instructions to make a water filter. Watch how we turned dirty water into clean water by layering various materials. Great collaborative work p5!
We have been learning about sustainability and how other countries get their water. We created a fun challenge to transport water from one end of the playground to other. We dropped lots of water and agreed how fortunate we are to have water easily accessible.
We have been exploring time. The class wrote down their timetable for the day. They had the choice to do this in analogue or digital.

We have been learning about recycling and decided to try and make our own recycled paper. We can’t wait to see how it turns out next week once it’s dried out.
