Trying to deal with my own University (forget my kids Uni, which is so frustrating) is an act of torture. They have changed degree requirements mid way through my degree even though I had completed the old requirements and am now looking at having to take 3 extra classes because of the changes.

The diarrhea lettuce company, Taylor Farms, uses slave labor contracted from the Arizona Dept. of Corrections. The backbreaking labor is often performed by imprisoned Mexican nationals who would be otherwise ineligble to work in the US. They are paid $1.50 an hour.

I'm a full Professor of Immunology and fully vaccinated. I didn't get vaccinated out of obedience, but after decades of studying the immune system and evaluating all evidence. Calling that "lack of critical thinking" is not an argument. It's ideology masked as pretend intellect.

I hope everyone who is having a shit time with WestJet has learned lessons: 1) if you are flying Intnl to Asia or Europe always fly on an airline from your destination country 2) Only fly on alliance member airlines, so if something happens you can be rebooked on another airline easily.

Ontario’s provincial transit agency Metrolinx has been fined $185,000 after pleading guilty to dumping fuel into Lake Simcoe in 2022.

My husbands biggest business competitor is now using fake AI news reports, with a full fake news anchor to report that they have landed clients which they have not. They can’t do anything though because they look like jerks if they badmouth a competitor to potential clients.

We had to renew our car insurance yesterday. Very proud of my family this year, despite having one new driver in the family, we managed to drive even less than last year and are well under the 10K km per year. Got a big discount for it. Yay! Love living in a walkable neighbourhood
