Over the course of this last year communities across the UK have felt the impacts of climate change, experiencing extreme weather events, including flooding and droughts. This damage is being felt by communities across the country, but farmers are on the front lines of climate change.

👏 Fantastic news that the UK intends to invest £400m in the Tropical Forest Forever Facility. This is a result of a huge effort across orgs and MPs, including the CNCC, who, alongside @ldnc-uk.bsky.social brought together 60 cross-party MPs to write to the PM at COP30 and help secure this pledge.

Up and down the country, communities are already benefiting from climate action and the clean energy transition. But after a summer of extreme weather, we need to go further to help communities prepare for the impacts of climate change while supporting them to protect and improve their communities.
