Plus, it's also true. If you do a job, then often other people will be relying on you to do it. No one's saying drag yourself in with a high temperature*, but there will be days when you're less motivated/more knackered than others. But you still turn up.

👏 We did it! Today the Government have published their long overdue draft Bill to ban conversion practices. For far too long, LGBTQ+ people have been subject to practices that seek to change or suppress who they are. Conversion practices have caused profound and lasting harm to many LGBTQ+ people.

I'm seeing a lot about harassment protection in law being shared within the trans community. Remember it's only law if the police (or other law enforcement) decide so, elevate it to CPS, and they can be bothered to do something about it. You're transgender... they won't.

All this 'Starmer wasn't bad' and 'you should get behind Burnham' from Cishets is making me feel super accelerationist at the moment. Might vote for the worst option so these people can also suffer as much as minorities do.

There were 1 million views on X for Tommy Robinson posting this on June 18th calling for mass public executions of "Pakistani rope gang" (Perceptions may differ on whether this is a call for the state to execute convicted criminals for grooming, or to organise public lynchings, or both).

I don't feel sorry for Starmer. I feel for the Palestinians whose slaughter he enabled, for the trans people and refugees he's victimised, and my colleagues who've had their careers wrecked by Labour's assault on universities. A record to be ashamed of.
