So after more than 10 years I cancelled my spotify subscription. I didnt use it to listen to podcasts but my subscription over time had been paying the likes of Joe Rogan, Harry & Megan and the Obamas rather than the aryists I'd signed up to listen to.

I was running a few months ago and got stuck chatting to a bloke who had spent the previous day in a cafe talking to chatgpt. In the course of the conversation the chatbot told him that he felt sadness and the man took this at face value and uncritically repeated it to me.
