it's awesome seeing this proposal pick up steam on the producer side! next step: adding support on the *consumer* side. if you have an app that handles webpages, start thinking about how you can use these <meta> tags to tie those pages back to atproto records!

an atproto permissioned data pattern i hope/expect to see flourish is apps using the "simplespace" authority on the user's PDS and not minting any space credentials at all, just using oauth portable, private data that the user can selectively expose without necessarily revealing the atproto records

don't think i'm worried about this in particular, but it does make me wonder what exactly is the credible exit for my own data if a space authority becomes malicious and stops issuing me credentials? (still wrapping my head around the permissioned data proposal so sorry if this is a dumb question!)

flying back from @localfirstconf.com, and wow what a stellar conference. This year's program was by far my fav lineup of any conf I've been to. Chaos day was great. Hats off to the organizers!

leaving @localfirstconf.com feeling super inspired. three days of mind-bending talks and conversations with some of the smartest and most interesting people i know. so glad this community exists.
i kind of ended up at @localfirstconf.com on a whim, im adjacent to a lot folks in that space but not really a part of it. walked away after yesterday having never felt so enthused and energised after a conf. @inkandswitch.com in particular are something really special. if you can, go next year.
