I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. I crowdsourced and then finalized this document "How to disable or avoid intrusive AI" and then gave it a short URL: notoai.org Please pass along if it's useful
Don't just share the most polished, professional works. Repost the people who are just starting, who are amateur, who maybe don't have the proportions or the anatomy or the color down. Remember they're choosing to pick up a pencil and enjoy the act of creating, many of them for the first time.

You need to be a champion of the art you love, you need to share that passion and joy, and do what you can to support the artists who make it, because it's not enough to hate AI, to hate what it's doing to art and media; you gotta love.

If anyone is getting smacked with this - just use deer.social or another alternate client. Bsky is just an AT Protocol Client, and your Bsky account is an AT Protocol account - you can use your same Bsky account thru another AT Protocol Client, no migration or loss necessary. Could not be easier.

My advice always is that, long term, it's more important that you're enjoying the process of making art than it is for you to be studying in ways that are perhaose more focused but that you hate.

youve GOTTAAA balance studies AND fun. if you go 100% in on study you're gonna burn out, unless you also find that fun (in which case, good for you!) - find a ratio of study:fun art that works for you
