Thank you! At an event last night I said "If the word hope doesn't work for you try, 'Never fucking surrender.'" The word hope seems too sunny to a lot of people, but the heart of it as I'm interested in it is: we make the future in the present, if we show up, and that never surrender part.

"A piece of this book is me saying there is value in banding with the poets, and fighting for the value of being curious and trying to articulate the world with whatever tools are available to us. Not for the purposes of selling something, but for the purpose of fulfilling our humanity.” 1/ 💙📚 🧪

In a historic moment, I was interviewed by fellow Black woman particle physicist Dr. Katrina Miller. Few people can understand my journey the way she does. We talked about my new book, why poetry matters, and yes, how the *fact* of non-trinary neutrinos challenges anti-trans rhetoric. #GiftLink

Just finished reading Katherena Vermette's real ones, which was recommended to me by a dear friend. A fantastic read, with two loving sisters at the center of it all. Makes me want to write something, or work with some clay after a long absence
