2-3 games worth reviewing have released every day this week on Steam alone. The videogame space is overflowing with good art and nobody is being paid for the time to review even a fraction of it.

You goon to AI chat bots. I bask in the implication of renovating a bathroom in House Flipper 2 with a floor-to-ceiling window in the shower facing the neighbor's house. We are not the same.

New work acquaintance: "Are you on bluesky?" Me: "Yeah one sec I need to check if I posted anything recently I'm not ready for you to know about me yet."

We had a long discussion on Dad Rock on one of my discord servers today and I presented my grand theory of what Dad Rock is. It has a few main components, but primarily it must be down home, heterosexual American Rock & Roll with a broad appeal. Freebird is the ultimate Dad Rock song.

Are you worried about what Mass Effect 5 will look like for queer characters, if the Sims will maintain its queer customization and relationship options, do you plan to stop supporting those series altogether? Whatever you're feeling, I want to hear from you. RTs of the above appreciated.

I used to not be able to be in a room with a wasp and I just let one crawl on me for like 20 seconds as exposure therapy and the way I feel now is how I've always imagined cocaine feels like.

I think very broadly grand strategy games could take "build buildings" as a player verb and completely throw it out for the most part. It would feel weird for a bit but it would force designers to focus on more interesting ways of interacting with the world.

Every single morning I just want to go for a walk and it's like, the high temperature is 2 million degrees and the air quality just says, "No" This apocalypse sucks man

There are several games I love where a huge part of the online discussion about them is taken up by something that is a non-entity to me, and for Zomboid that's "builds"/professions. Just a subsytem I don't care for or interact with at all. I give myself 100 points and make whatever I feel like.

You really can see the specific kind of weirdo I am by looking at the four countries that represent more than 90% of my EU5 playtime: Portugal (the only normal one) Hamburg Greenland Siguntur (Western Indonesia) In Victoria 3 my most played countries are Korea, Switzerland, and Indian Territory.

I have not lived the kind of life that would allow me to look at the Grell main base structure in ZeroSpace with any level of maturity.

Another thing I like about Daggerheart is that I think we should fully embrace the East-West cultural exchange and make cat people an obligatory core medieval fantasy race. It's about time we add a new one and having both Halflings and Gnomes is redundant. They should just be subraces of Little Guy.

FF7 really is the story of getting the one ostensibly straight guy in your lesbian throuple to put on a dress just to see if it makes him feel anything.

I'm not sure that there is a better way to express my initial impressions to Vampire 6th Edition yet than that I am glad they decided to have a lengthy open playtest period.

Project Zomboid having added an entire blacksmithing skill tree really changes the late game, because the previous best possible armor you could get was like a reinforced leather jacket and now if you're willing to invest the time you can make full plate armor.

With Zomboid Build 42 releasing into Stable tomorrow I wonder how many people would be interested in me doing a little apocalypse survivor diary of sorts. I have a few days off here to write. I'll say if this gets, what, 50 likes? I would consider that worth the time investment.

When I see as many ads for something as I have for this cat sudoku game I start to get suspicious. Like if you have the money to be every third ad I see, I just start to assume there's something fishy going on. Like you're funded by AIPAC or trying to steal my soul or something.

So if I decided I wanted to start paying attention to the EPL and not just bandwagon for a team because they're currently dominant, I know the English part of my family has their roots in Lound, Nottinghamshire. So I could support Forest, though the town itself is physically closer to Sheffield.

Here we go Multiverse Saga tier list. I will add the asterisk that I got so tired of Secret Invasion I didn't finish it.

S tier: Loki, Shang-Chi, Spider-Man No Way Home
A tier: Wandavision, What If, Hawkeye, Ms Marvel, Guardians vol. 3, Fantastic Four
B tier: Moon Knight, Love & Thunder, Guardians Holiday Special, The Marvels, Deadpool & Wolverine, Thunderbolts
C tier: Black Widow, Multiverse of Madness, She-Hulk, Wakanda Forever
D tier: Eternals, Quantumania
F tier: Falcon & the Winter Soldier, Secret Invasion, Brave New World
Haven't Seen: Werewolf by Night, Echo, Agatha All Along, Daredevil Born Again, Ironheart, Wonder Man, Punisher, Marvel Zombies

It's really easy to see what the problem is at a glance when you look at this slate, honestly. Those first four lines are the first nine years of the MCU and the remaining five are just the last seven. It's too much shit.

A poster showing every MCU project. Everything up to Endgame doesn't even take up four whole lines. Everything *since* Endgame takes up more than five.

Everything in the ATLA franchise from now on can and maybe will suck and the cool part is they still can't ruin the original series. You can go watch that whenever you want and it's still fucking awesome.

On the off chance that there's someone looking for a Hololive fan to review the Hololive rhythm game... hit me up. I have Thoughts.

I accidentally emailed one of my editors from an email address that could be used to find my AO3 account and yet you speak to me as if you've known true fear.

A single-issue president who ran on wielding anti-trust law with a level of zealotry never before seen in our history would do more good for the country and the world than any in my lifetime and probably my parents' lifetimes has.
