Mitch McConnell would 100% use an incapacitated opposing party Senator as a tool to lower the opposition’s margins and not lift a finger to get a voting body back in the seat early. Like what Beshear is doing.

Not discounting how horrific the war is, but these numbers don’t make sense. If their life expectancy “on the battlefield” is 20-35 minutes, then RU is suffering ~50 deaths per day per man in the battlefield. Assuming the ~1000/day casualty number, then just 20 RU men are on the battlefield at once.

IMO this is the original sin (heh) of the sceptic and rationalist movements. Once “I am rational” becomes part of your identity when someone points out that you aren’t being rational it becomes a threat to your self-image, and you go to fight or flight mode vs. that threat.
