i have found myself in the sad position of having a twilio phone number for automated sms/call send/receive and not enough silly ideas of what to use it for

I could not put down Fawn by C.N. Vair! An enchanted, potent story of the steps a wildlife rehabilitator must take to protect her sanctuary. Bursting with feminine rage, and emotionally devastating when it needs to be. Fiercely recommend.

A Palma 2 Pro colour e-ink smartphone displays front cover of Fawn by C.N. Vair. It rests on a wooden table alongside a white Magic Keyboard and a pink heart necklace.

today I remembered after five minutes of blasting a block of frozen soup in the microwave that microwaves do not melt ice

a very frozen block of mushroom and haggis soup sat sort of on top of a plastic tub, inside a microwave

i have purchased a pressure canner to can things like stews and soups and stock. i then realised i have a sad lack of jars. so, while browsing jars from the local The Range, it surprised me to find that jars are more expensive empty than with jam in them (49p for jar w/ jam vs £1.50/empty jar…)

facial hair electrolysis is soso great. feels very strange, like you have little lightning strikes under your skin

pleasantly surprised today with my boss using they/them pronouns for me in my performance review. maybe it's the makeup and nails i show off in the weekly catch-ups
