I'm dating myself somewhat, but my first mortgage was at 7.25% and that was a "good" rate at the time. We've had artificially-low interest rates for far too long and have lost perspective. Money costs money!

I finally remembered to bring my last rebate check with me! I always forget them at home when I need to get something.
The first one is easy. I was having a good day for once. Then a number of things go to shit within minutes, and I (of course) make them exponentially worse by berating myself for messing things up even more with my temper. I'm very good at the last one - blaming myself for everything.
