THIS is something we don’t acknowledge enough (bc we’re in survival mode). The visible uptick in violence in the US and polarization is partially because we are (purposefully) in an environment where we can’t get grounded, take a step back. We keep blaming each other and not systems (general)
A big reason I left tiktok & Twitter was B/C the algorithms reward rage. & I like feeling calm. Many have learned to capitalize on this so when you see something like that & feel the need to rage think "how many more people will feel this way if I engage and share?" Then you'll know its purpose
It’s okay to take a step back to decompress. I’ve noticed that 90% of the “drama” is coming from Americans. Life under Trump 2.0 is hellish. Many of us are traumatised from life, which makes us short. But ppl are having minor miscommunications, that end up blowing up & being HUGE problems/schisms.
