Enjoyed visiting Croke Park to discuss supporting the growth of @officialgaa.bsky.social in Britain. GAA membership in Britain has increased by nearly 30% in just 4 years - with participants from all backgrounds. Clubs also do vital work in communities from London to Liverpool and beyond.

It was good to talk to @news.rte.ie with @ivanabacik.bsky.social in Dublin yesterday about the need for survivors of Mother & Baby Homes to get redress. I hope to ensure this happens in Britain with Philomena’s Law - and appreciate all the support this is getting: amp.rte.ie/amp/1506923/

Really tragic news. My thoughts and sympathies are with the boy’s family, friends, and everyone affected. Beckenham Place Park is a park so many of us use, and I know how upsetting this will be to many local residents too.

Last night I held a public briefing on Philomena’s Law in Parliament with @irishinbritain.bsky.social It was particularly moving to hear from survivors - a reminder of the need for change. There are 13,000+ living in Britain. Thanks to everyone who came and to Ailbhe Rea for chairing.

Today @liamconlon.bsky.social & I met with Thames Water and raised concerns of constituents affected by the water outage which left residents without water for several days. It was good to discuss the lessons learnt and to hold them accountable for the disruption caused to residents.
