Friendly guide to how the UK hard right view the political spectrum: Themselves - centrists Centrists = leftists Liberals = leftists Centre-left = leftists Socialists = leftists Far-left = leftists Marxists who hate the U.K. = Seems like a decent fellow.
Bit of a classic here from Tim Shipman First article 22/07/26 Second article 24/07/26 Care to comment on the country being “fooled” by Andy Burnham in two days @shippersunbound.bsky.social ?
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Ignore the haters. The evidence is clear: crime is falling and London remains one of the safest big cities in the world.
I’ve signed up to The Spectator on a cheap deal as an experiment. These are the three most prominent articles on their website this evening. I fear that much of conservative Right-wing politics has been radicalised by click bait journalism. Minds are being poisoned.
ITV are using Cemetery Gates by Pantera as incidental music in their World Cup programme 😂 Great track 👍⚽️🤘 youtu.be/RVMvART9kb8?...

Calling a by-election over the sovereign right of every MP to take secret gifts from a convicted criminal. What a time to be alive.
So he’s dodging the parliamentary investigation by resigning? #farage
On Nigel Farage’s announcement that he will make a statement about his future in public life later today, Leader of the Liberal Democrats, Ed Davey said: “I hope it’s that you haven’t got one. “You’ve caused more than enough damage already."
Close to even odds on Farage stepping down from being RefUK leader this year. Oh dear. What a shame. Never mind 👍
Not my work but there’s truth in this. The BBC needs to stop giving equal weight to “all sides” where some sides are wrong and/deliberately false. They have good fact checkers: use them!
On this occasion I do in fact have to support this kind of silliness
I can confirm it isn’t. I worked there for two years. Slightly nicer than Bracknell though…
Farage must not be allowed to get away with this or we can kiss any pretence of being a liberal democracy goodbye. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
Nigel Farage denies rules broken after reports benefits from ally were not declared
The Sunday Times says the Reform UK leader failed to register the support supplied by a man who had been convicted of fraud in the US.

Question: What's keeping America from being as great as it could be? Major Jason Watson: “Divisiveness. The unwillingness to talk to each other. Unwillingness to love our neighbors Understand that we're all just human beings We are all Americans We have more in common than we do not”
Some of us have been banging on about Farage and Cottrell for months and have been shouting into the void. Why? Well done to The Times for covering it now but their editor seems a little reluctant. I’d really like to know why? Cc @gabrielpogrund.bsky.social @hugorifkind.bsky.social
Why isn’t anyone commenting on Nigel Farage being paid £16k by convicted fraudster George Cottrell? Would any other politician get away with this massive error of judgement? #Farage #ReformUK
Suddenly the U.K. press latches on to the criminal in Farage’s camp…why? I’ve known about this for months/years. Why now? @gabrielpogrund.bsky.social @hugorifkind.bsky.social
