A hard situation deep into the Thai Jungle today after we got a tip off. Nobody lives here. Managed to get the first boy saved (more soon we hope) and medical care. I've never seen a dog go from scared to happy to be rescued so quick

The screen uses staggered and rotated bricks to create an undulating, porous surface. It provides shade, ventilation, and visual and acoustic privacy from the busy street outside. The unusual masonry system was developed directly on site over five weeks, with custom wooden wedges helping bricklayers position each course at the correct angle. Completed in 2005, the building fits approximately 1,850 square feet (172 m²) of workspace onto a site measuring just 538 square feet (50 m²).South Asian Human Rights Documentation Centre (SAHRDC) is a non-governmental organisation which seeks to investigate, document and disseminate information about human rights. A small office with limited resources, the SAHRDC also runs an internship programme attracting scholars from universities in India and abroad. She's been working so hard for her first week with us to get healthy. And the first weigh in went super well. 7 lbs down and she is starting to feel herself again! A long way to go but she is off and running

Over the last 10 yrs, sharpshooters hired by the B.C. govt have killed hundreds of wolves from helicopters to "save" struggling caribou herds. The real cause of caribou decline isn't wolves, though - it's habitat destruction. This isn't endangered species conservation, BC. It's willful ignorance.
