Donald Trump lied to you. Again. His "Big Beautiful Bill' that he sold as a middle-class tax cut? It gave $65 BILLION in tax cuts to corporations. Corporations first. Working families last.

Bloomberg Headline reads: "Trump’s Tax Cut Delivers at Least $65 Billion Windfall to Corporations.

I and millions of Americans believe exactly the same thing Kasparov does. Too many troops, too many new prisons, too much money not under Congressional supervision. We're not just witnessing a mass deportation scheme anymore. This is something significantly bigger and scarier.

If I’m going to lose my healthcare because of 8 spineless democrats and and even more spineless party leader with Schumer, I expect nothing less than the democrats ousting Schumer. This is the most disgustingly weak leadership I could imagine.

Every democrat senator making a statement about voting no is just performative. It shows no courage to vote no because it comes with no real risk. Courage would be standing up and voting to oust Schumer in favor of real leadership that represents us.

Remember: The richest 1% evade over $160 billion in taxes every year. That amount would fund SNAP for a year with money to spare. Ask yourself who the real freeloaders are.

Senate Parliamentarian Allows Updated Public Land Sales
Proposal
Today, after a new public land sales proposal was submitted, the Senate parliamentarian-the nonpartisan referee on Senate rules-made the official determination that the public land sale portion of the bill could now be included in the reconciliation package.
"TRCP remains steadfast in our position that no public land sales should be included in budget reconciliation legislation," said Joel Pedersen, president and CEO of the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership. "TRCP will not stop working to remove public land sales from this bill, and we urge all hunters and anglers to keep the phones ringing in D.C. until our public lands are secured."
Contact lawmakers NOW and urge them to advance an amendment stripping public land sales from budget reconciliation by calling (202) 224-3121 and visiting

ICE has been abducting law abiding families who have been dutifully attending check-ins with ICE and forcing them into a federal building basement in Los Angeles where they are being denied food, water, and forced to sleep on the floor.

Immigrants at ICE check-ins detained, held in basement of federal building in Los Angeles, some overnightOne attorney, Lizbeth Mateo, said ICE officials slated several of her clients for check-ins at the Edward R. Roybal Federal Building in downtown L.A. but when they showed up on Tuesday, they were detained and immediately escorted to the basement.
Mateo said a couple and their two children, one of whom is a U.S. citizen, spent the night in a room with no beds and limited access to food and water. Mateo said the father had previously been issued a stay of removal, barring him from deportation but he and his family were detained anyway. His wife was released Wednesday evening along with their children since she needed medical attention due to a high-risk pregnancy.
He was still being detained early Friday, Mateo said.
