What a difference a day makes! I can still smell smoke and I know that danger still lurks, conditions could easily deteriorate again, but the blue sky gives me hope. 🥲

Fire too close 😥 It started yesterday and quickly grew to over 2600 hectares. It is so dry here. 🙏🏻My thoughts are with everyone who lost their homes, including the animals.

Canada is in a deadly serious moment unlike anything we have seen in a century. We need political leaders to offer a vision of how respond to the threat while offering ways that our nation can move forward. Claiming that the PM's priority is supporting Trump's war machine is a total falsehood.
