While the SCREEN Act failed in the committee, KOSA did move forward. Contact your senators immediately demanding it be opposed, and keep the pressure up until it comes to a vote in the Senate

True acceptance is realizing not everyone is going to accept you 100%. And even that is okay. Stop trying to please everyone and just be as you are fearfully and wonderfully made. Don’t destroy yourself or lower your standards, especially not your spiritual walk for someone else’s approval.

I think the most disheartening thing about the Platner debacle is that it unfortunately demonstrated that a lot of progressives were guilty of the same thing they accuse MAGA of: ignoring huge red flags because of policy alignment. That feels bad.
