Picked the last of the tomatoes as the plants are dying now. Hoping the green ones will ripen in the sun, but if not they'll be used up in curries, casserols, pasta sauces etc. Waste not, want not! #homegrown #GrowYourOwn #organic #gardening

Still don't know what I want to do when I'm grown up. In the meantime, I write short stories, flash fiction & unfinished novels, draw, paint, take photos, garden, daydream and dance when nobody's watching. 📍NW England 🚫NO AI 🚫DMs - I can't read them!

Three days to go for @northwildlife.bsky.social to raise £30M to buy the Rothbury Estate. Impressively, they've secured over £27M in donations & pledges. But that still leaves a shortfall. I can only hope they're given more time by the seller. Or that he waives the difference. You can chip in here:

After much practising and faffing about, I've finally sent a postcard painting to Winsor & Newton's ArtMail. www.winsornewton.com/pages/artmail And as it was based on a photo I took of my little granddaughter last #summer I think it might also do for this week's #BlueSkyArtShow #watercolour
