Timeline cleanse: Henriëtte Ronner-Knip, "Keeshond & Bumblebee"

This week I started a new role as Associate Chair of Undergraduate Studies. This week I also discovered my faculty office has a wasp infestation.

I donated a kidney this summer. It slowed down my research but also affirmed my faith in humanity. I've been ambivalent about sharing this publicly, but awareness can draw new donors. So: this is a thing that average people do! Happy to chat about my experience if anyone is considering it.

That point in copyediting when I'm having unhinged anxiety dreams. Last night's featured running into a secret "Reader 3" (whose extensive comments were never given to me) at an Airbnb that a host had double booked.
