communist. they/he.

if you expect a quick end to the iranian regime just because its leadership was decapitated you may be disappointed. like imagine if the situation were reversed and america's supreme leader and defense secretary had been killed. that's right, go ahead, imagine it. think about it all day if you like.

The US is waging a war of extermination against the Cuban people, like we did in Vietnam and like we are doing with our Israeli allies in Gaza. Socialists around the world, but especially in the US, must organize to lift the blockade and end the war on Cuba.

LIFT THE BLOCKADE

The US is waging a war of extermination against the Cuban people.

Sanctions as a mode of warfare are slower and quieter but no less cruel than bombs: they explicitly target civilians and disproportionately harm the most vulnerable.

END THE WAR ON CUBAThe recent intensification of the blockade, including through illegal intervention in Venezuela which forced the state to end its crucial oil shipments, has led to an acute crisis throughout Cuban society.

People are without electricity, transportation, and food. Hospitals
can’t treat their patients. Children can’t go to school.

(Pink text on dark purple background, with an image of a diverse set of Cuban people protesting, one holding a sign that says "NO AL BLOQUEO," others holding flags and banners.)Would-be colonizers like Marco Rubio have a single goal: to destroy the only socialist state in the Western hemisphere.

Like the American war on Vietnam and the Israeli war on Gaza, they are ready to destroy countless lives in a vain attempt to salvage a dying hegemony.

(Pink text on dark purple background, with an image of a U.S. airforce plane dropping missiles, and a picture of Marco Rubio speaking.)But the spirit of July 26 lives on in the people of Cuba and in all revolutionaries.

Despite decades under siege, Cuba has endured as a beacon of hope for a better world under communism.

80 years since the Italian Resistance rose against fascism and ended Nazi occupation. Liberation Day marks the fall of fascism in Italy—a powerful reminder of what organized people can achieve. The fight against fascism matters—then and now.

Today in 1974, Portugal’s Carnation Revolution toppled Europe’s longest dictatorship—in just 24 hours. Putting an end to thirteen years of colonial war in Africa. A rare coup not to seize power, but to restore democracy.

Declarations of a constitutional crisis have legitimacy given if there were any remaining semblance of so-called liberal democracy, then Trump would not have ignored the ruling by the Supreme Court of the United States to return Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia back.

The Palestinian resistance are the heroes fighting on behalf not just for themselves but for all humanity. The Zionist movement and US-led imperialism must be totally and completely defeated by any means necessary if we wish to live in a just world for everybody not just the rich.

Finally Morena via Presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum is getting a bit of positive attention from segments of the US left, but less well known is the incredible figure of Clara Brugada, head of government of Mexico City, previously head of Iztapalapa www.elfinanciero.com.mx/cdmx/2025/01...

‘Vamos a combatir la gentrificación’: Clara Brugada propone vivienda más barata y rehabilitar colonias

Jimmy Carter created the monstrous State Sponsors of Terrorism list in 1979 which included Iraq, Libya, Syria, and South Yemen. He was complicit in the genocide in East Timor. Do not white wash his legacy. He was a criminal like all US Presidents.

To decolonize our theory and practice, we in the US must embrace the legacy of North American socialism and national liberation most exemplified by Toussaint Louverture, Tecumseh, W.E.B. du Bois, Emiliano Zapata, Claudia Jones, Frantz Fanon, Fidel Castro, and the Black Panther Party.

“I make no secret of my opinion that at the present time the barbarism of Western Europe has reached an incredibly high level, being only surpassed—far surpassed, it is true—by the barbarism of the United States.” – Aimé Césaire 🇲🇶
