you forget how good CI is until github actions w/ blacksmith goes down twice in a week
I feel like @stream.place should surface real people streaming now over these 24/7 livestreams
For all of the people who weren’t aware of what a “glonzo” is here’s the origin of the meme. a bluesky native one surprisingly.
If 25% of the population believed that a creature called ‘Glonzo’ caused high power prices by chewing through transmission lines, any competent politician would be negligent in not trying to find a way to exploit this. This doesn’t mean that these people wouldn’t be fucking morons.
debating moving company git forge to forgejo given the github actions downtime
How does one get into the hardware side of this? This is a no-brainer on atproto @atmowx.net
Curious if there's a place (cc @microcosm.blue?) where I can see how big the atmosphere is on disk (like w/ and w/o blobs). Wondering how feasible it is to have a complete replica/backup locally.
I was informed that only 22% of my followers have tried the for you algorithm by @spacecowboy17.bsky.social. What are you all doing? How are you using this app? Try it out I've met a lot of cool folks by using it! bsky.app/profile/did:...
@npmx.dev changelogs are incredible. Was looking to see what had changed while updating packages and the changelog tab was so natural it took me a few days to realize that it was a new feature. Huge thanks to @wilco.npmx.social this is an awesome feature.
Looks like my @github.com account got (shadow?) banned. Opened an appeal and we'll see what they say. It would be too generous of them to send an email to provide reasoning.
Project Hail Mary is awesome, just finished the book, super excited to watch the movie
npmx is now in alpha: this is our story, as told by our team and friends
Announcing npmx: a fast, modern browser for the npm registry
Today we're releasing the alpha of npmx.dev – a fast, modern browser for the npm registry, built in the open by a growing community.

The better npm site got warnings on packages that should be avoided yesterday. Big thanks to the @e18e.dev community for making that easy!
@jasnell.me Is WebTransport support something that CF workers will get? If so, any ideas on a timeline?
I know it's common knowledge at this point but AdamW is really good.
RIP to npm stylus, looks like it was compromised want to read the post mortum when it comes out
@tailwindcss.com I can't figure out a way wonder if there's a way to switch between themes depending on prefers-color-scheme. I tried doing (see reply) but it didn't seem to work. I don't see anything in the docs on this, though it's possible I missed it. Is this a supported usecase?
If you ever want to be sad, read the foreword to SIKE (sike.org/files/SIDH-s...), a now-broken post-quantum key-exchange protocol that made it all the way to the 4th and final round of NIST's competition. Tough read. I rediscover it every once in a while.

I love how Claude's tiers internally are "free", "pro", and then "raven". I assume raven is the enterprise plan but I like the idea that they have a special tier for birds.
