Oh joy, someone put $200 into a to Dubai Pay account from my PayPal yesterday. I immediately said no when the text came through, stopped card, went to acct to check for charges = 'pending', can't report while pending. Today it went through. Wtf is the don't accept this charge text even for then?

I don't like to put costumes on our cats (or any animals) but I have sometimes made "stealth costumes" like turning sleeping Francie into a hairy eyeball. Still very funny, no discomfort or fear for her. 🎃👍

My fluffy white cat Francie curled up in a ball. Placed in the center of the white circle her body forms is a round piece of paper decorated with marker to look like a green human iris. It makes Francie look like a big hairy eyeball.

#FOFriday #knitsky I finished and seamed my first wiggly sample. Making a longer one for true scarf, needs 4 well matched skeins. This stitch eats a ton of yarn 🧶

Born in Takada (now Jōetsu), Niigata Prefecture—a region famous for its deep winter snows—Soichiro Tomioka (1922–1994) developed a unique place in modern Japanese oil painting (Yōga). After working as a graphic designer for Mitsubishi, he devoted himself entirely to painting, receiving the prestigious Mainichi Art Award in 1974. Tomioka is globally renowned for inventing his own custom white oil pigment, known as "Tomioka White," which was specifically engineered to resist yellowing over time and capture the brilliant, unblemished purity of Niigata's snowscapes. Utilizing a palette knife with extraordinary control and speed, Tomioka achieved a razor-sharp precision in his black calligraphic lines without compromising the flat, luminous quality of the white ground. His technique showcases master-level monozukuri (artistic mastery of craft and material invention), bridging Western oil mediums with traditional East Asian ink-wash (suibokuga) sensibilities.

Also for #WIPWednesday #knitsky #knitting 🧶 My own design in progress of wiggly columns. I had to pare down the short rows stacks again, as much as able to still maintain the wiggle ruffles. As they were they used way too much yarn. More than dense cabling even.
