20.) What are things you look for in a book? Really good writing, and good worldbuilding with imaginative settings.
19.) Most disliked popular books? Probably anything written by J.K. Rowling, for obvious reasons.
18.) Do you like historical books? What time period? Not usually. The exceptions are ones dealing with spycraft. Saturdays at MI5 and things like that.

15.) Recommend/review a book. Alastair Reynolds' House of Suns is one of the most captivating, surprisingly romantic science fiction books of the past thirty years. From start to finish, it's immersive and beautiful.

12.) Did you enjoy any compulsory high school readings? Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth, Hamlet--because we had to read them aloud, frequently. Fahrenheit 451, Brave New World, 1984, The Hobbit, Wuthering Heights, Death of A Salesman, Crime and Punishment, basically I like books.
11.) What non-fiction books do you like, if any? I collect old Pilates books.
10.) Do you have a guilty favorite? If Ellen Datlow has edited anything, including smutty horror, I will read that. She has the best eye for short stories.
9.) When do you tend to read most? I get up and do a minimal amount of house (or other) work or Pilates on Saturday and Sunday mornings, and then I read.
8.) What is the first book you remember reading yourself? The Dick and Jane books when I was in first grade. I got bored and read ahead, and then they put me in a higher reading group and let me read more.
7.) What series got you into reading. The series that got me into reading was C.S. Lewis' The Chronicles of Narnia.
