FRPG GM Tip: Have a short list of stock environmental effects on hand that can be added to any encounter and that you know how to run. Then drop in one of those effects anytime a fight becomes less entertaining than you expected. Cult battle feeling flat? Time for that shrine of evil to explode!

Bit disappointed that my #TTRPG groups would play them if I ran them, but none of the players wpold be that excited to play the Power Rangers, GI Joe or transformers games I planned out I have a lot of nerdy references in them as plot points, but know that none of my players would catch them

YouTube showed me a bunch of "Japanese style cheesecake in the rice cooker" videos and I'm about to make that my problem. I mentioned I should bake one for my birthday and this could be a fun and ridiculous attempt. (Thankfully the grocery is near enough to have regular ingredients on backup.)

The best way to play is always take the safe route. Possible road hazard? Go back to town. Bandits reported? Go tell the local magistrate then go take a nap. Never take risks you don't have to
