On the down side, the phone with the good camera has finally reached an age where the battery is starting to swell up. On the upside, thanks to the wretched summer heat, the adhesive that held the screen on has melted, so it just popped off rather than crack in half.

Was replacing the seat of my fifteen year old Aeron chair and realized that step nine calls for a torque wrench set to 250-in lbs, not 250-ft lbs. Oops. Wish I'd realized that sooner. I could have gotten a much cheaper wrench.

Did some music shopping this weekend. Found an interesting reissue of the 2nd Fruit Bats LP, the 2nd Sunflower Bean LP, a 2019 reissue of A I A : Alien Observer from Grouper, a test pressing of a 2009 Richie Lawrence LP that to my knowledge never got a vinyl release, and the new Jesca Hoop album.
