I just found out that I am not claustrophobic. In fact, the way I’ve been talking about claustrophobia is actually the definition of Enochlophobia. I fear being in crowds and crowded spaces with crowds. The act of actually being IN those spaces can and will send me into a panic attack.
Sometimes closure isn’t one big door, but a line of several smaller ones instead.
I saw a lot of people I love today 🥰.
Revisiting old feelings and digging into the idea of unrequited friendship opened my eyes and healed a part of me I didn’t know was still hurting.
I’m doing a new thing with this dnd campaign where each session will have a “scent.” Session 0 was Nosferatu (sp?) by Heretic.
I love how our cat has slowly morphed from Socks to Stonks. She is both.

For years, I never understood the idea of like…bringing plushies to cafes for characters birthdays and purchasing their photo cards. Supported it? Absolutely. I just never felt THAT towards a character enough to do it..until recently. I am obsessed with one character. He is my babygirl. Gimme merch.
Related/unrelated…if someone is also into this perfume bullshit game…I have some empties and some doubles I’m willing to trade for. Not sure about joining a reddit for that shit yet but I’m considering it.
I feel like I should do a series on tiktok about scents/houses that do or don’t give me a headache. Here is the thing though…like yes…I suffer from migraines. Scents are generally not one of my triggers. Does that make a better judge? A worse one? Cause when a scent DOES hurt me like…yikes.

Despite the parts of Directive 8020 that pissed me off (idk if that was out of genuine dislike or me being exhausted)...I will say that this was my fav one of these games since Until Dawn. I have 10X more good things to say about this game than bad. I openly SOBBED at the end. AND I CANT SAY WHY.
Please do this. Libraries are one of the few bastions of civil society left in America. Where knowledge is free to EVERYONE as it should be. Nothing is more punk rock than a librarian.

One of my best friends is pregnant and my favorite thing to do is talk body horror adjacent shit with them. Like, pregnancy is both beautiful and horrifying and I’m here for it.

One of my least favorite thought scenarios are “what if you woke up tomorrow and the last 20 years were a dream?” Like don’t make me relive the good and bad parts of my teens/twenties again. I like where I am at.
I canceled my trip to FeatherFest this year. I would love to go…but Sock’s surgery just put us financially behind. 😭

Socks is upset that her routine has been disrupted…but I did make sure she got some outside time today (she usually uses the bathroom outside…weirdly well trained). I’m thankful the medicine has been working and she has mostly been sleeping. Thank you to everyone who has been sharing my ko-fi!
