Breastfeeding at last! “Baby Y did not latch on and feed from the breast until he was four months old. I so desperately wanted to breastfeed – but it seemed less and less likely as time passed. I would never have believed such a late start to breastfeeding was possible..."

#CallToAction! We call on the U.K. and devolved governments to act on ALL the recommendations of the Competition and Markets Authority! Tag your MP or send them this post. Or drop them an email asking them to read the report and support it.

I have also emailed but please attend this debate as my MP @sarahbool.bsky.social. Infant feeding support and policies and funding to protect breastfeeding are important to me

Special Podcast Episode In Memory of Naomi Stadlen 1942-2025 In February, Sarah and Maria recorded a conversation with Naomi Stadlen in preparation for a Breastfeeding Matters episode. We are very sad we didn’t get to release the episode we were planning with her before her death on 6 June

Anyone can become disabled at any time. It’s one of the few minority groups you can always join. Even if you do everything “right”. Even if you’re young and healthy. Even if you “try hard” It’s not a moral failing. It’s a part of life. Engage in disability justice.

I will also email, but please attend this meeting @sarahbool.bsky.social as my MP. Supporting infant feeding and reducing inequalities is important to me. I will be joining online.
