Osman’s office: +16126732206 Whiting’s office +16126732211 This affects the whole city. “It’s just a pilot” means Skydio gets access to our city.
Any traffic nerds know if posts that are on Marshall Ave in St. Paul need to adhere to 'Crashworthiness'? The statute mentions the implementation date is for roads posted at >= 50 mph but I'm curious if there are any other city or state laws that may apply. www.dot.state.mn.us/stateaid/cra...

The USMNT can still win the World Cup if Mike Pence does the right thing
I don't like to talk, but here's me talking about benches as political speech, as recorded by the inspiring local filmmaker Joe Miller. The website has lots of other amazing stories of folks helping each other out. www.storiesbyus.org/story/view/b...

There's an effort underway to identify and remove excess sources of air pollution in Frogtown. This map caught my eye. I-94 is killing people. @mndot.mn.gov can stop killing people if it chooses.
i bet if you're a green bean plant it feels nice when someone picks your beans
kind of dissapointing that out of the hundreds of artists at the Stone Arch festival only Bench Pressed had art that referenced ICE and the federal invasion of a few months ago.
I am increasingly impatient with the use of space in this city. Too many streets for cars and not people. Narrow sidewalks with no seating. Not a bathroom in sight. And then we wonder why commercial corridors sit quiet. Look what we do with a little breathing room! This should be every day.
Close the streets so kids can play in them. This is an official position.
anyone aware of how she assisted and is still assisting ICE will see this and say hell yeah

MnDot has closed the last remaining pedestrian crossing of Hiawatha between 94 and 28th street. if you are a pedestrian who wants to cross Hiawatha you will need to walk almost a mile out of your way or walk in traffic because MnDot thinks this strategy will stop encampments from forming.
if there is a cement ugly traffic circle doing the amazing work in your neighborhood of slowing down automobiles you and your neighbors have the opportunity and responibility to put planters, art, and other beautiful things in it
pretty much every wading pool in south minneapolis is open except Matthews Park and I'm having a hard time not taking this personally
we really needed these drops of water falling from the sky
Does anyone know where I cold buy puffed/popped wild rice? I know I can buy wild rice and do this myself but I don't wanna
The Friends School Plant Sale should have a sane ticketing system that doesn't waste up to 6 hours of people's time.
Gives me comfort to know the mayor would never be welcome at the best Minneapolis event of the year
We're like 2 New York Magazine articles away from "chattel slavery wasn't that bad really"
We quit our bad habits for the sake of our future selves, author Xochitl Gonzalez writes. How naïve of us.
Is anyone else's USI fiber service maxxing out at 4mbps or is that just me
this comes off as so self-centered given the hundreds of actual journalists who have been murdered by American bombs or Israeli snipers in the past few years trying to actually cover news
People here are being really shitty, including at fellow journalists who've been traumatized, and you will regret those posts. Or should. Also this does not help your political cause, whatever that might be.
