I need a tattoo artist recommendation for Minneapolis, please! Someone who is good with fine detail.

The tide of authoritarianism is rising all around us. Americans are increasingly desperate and turning on one another while billionaires at the top profit off of our pain. The least they could do is save us a few bucks at the pump.
As your elected leader I will negotiate with our corporate overlords for bargain discount coupons on your behalf.

Because it is my lot in life (and because I love Brad), I knock about 500 doors in Shakopee every election cycle. His annual sweet corn and BLT fundraiser is a good time, and this year I will be donating another classic from Dave the Pie Guy.
And Bluesky star @ehbinmn.bsky.social will be there. And will be doing a door knocking shift before then cooling off in the splash pad after. Probably. Volunteer -> bradtabke.com/volunteer
Thank you for reminding me that I lovingly repaired this trailer’s wheel not a fortnight before it was stolen!
WTF this is not right
My beloved little campaign trailer was lifted off my bike in Standish (in broad daylight!) yesterday. Not a tragedy, but an excuse to post some pictures of the fond memories. She was a key part of the campaign 🫡🫡🫡
Extremely proud of my friend @aishaforward10.com for taking this step to prioritize her mental health. Aisha has given so much to all of us and deserves our full support as she takes time to heal. I know she will return an even stronger champion for the people of this city. We are with you, Aisha!
Like millions of Americans, I work to manage my mental health daily. I’ve long ignored my need for more help. That’s why I’m sharing some personal news. I’m taking a leave from the City for a month to get help at a rigorous outpatient program for clinical depression and anxiety.
How long can I stay in the public eye before it is revealed that I only own four shirts?
New York has gotten a taste of principled, effective leadership and they do not want to go back. The rest of the country should take note.
All three progressive candidates backed by New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani — including two who took on Democratic incumbents — won their primaries in safe seats almost guaranteeing their election in November. n.pr/4ahbysP
I am increasingly impatient with the use of space in this city. Too many streets for cars and not people. Narrow sidewalks with no seating. Not a bathroom in sight. And then we wonder why commercial corridors sit quiet. Look what we do with a little breathing room! This should be every day.
Close the streets so kids can play in them. This is an official position.
EHB catches a major stray in this episode courtesy of MPRB Commissioner @jasoncomix.bsky.social and I must defend my own honor: In a race for the lowest ranking and least respected office in Minneapolis, I would crush Josh Bassais.
NEW EPISODE: It's that nightmare we've all had about having to take an exam for a class you haven't attended all semester. But then you realize you're also completely naked. And then someone you thought was a friend looks away in disgust and refuses to nominate you for the DFL endorsement.
I am in downtown Detroit for a conference and the amount of beautiful, people-centered public space is absolutely stunning.
Great for New York, great for KAT, great for Democratic Socialism, great for people who believe the world can be different and surprising in good ways 🧡💙
OG’s tip-in is rightfully dominating the discussion but Brunson’s three right over Wemby really shouldn’t be forgotten.
Jalen Brunson three over Wemby? Sure
Best thing about Mamdani is that he's one of the only Democrats who understands you can just do things
When James Dolan cancels the watch party outside MSG, we bring the watch party to you. Thanks to the @nba.com, Knicks Game 4 is now playing on dozens of LinkNYC screens across our city. LGK.
Unprompted thought on healthcare reform: The conversation needs to move away from single payer and towards single provider (public health service). Insurance is a fundamentally broken model because it disincentivizes early care, which leads to worse outcomes and higher costs.
DJ Khaled on his phone, rarely standing, awkwardly holding his jacket over his arm like he’s waiting for a valet. This man does not want it, get him out of there.
Thank you to @ourstreetsmn.org for giving us the gift of Lyndale Open Streets today. Celebrate the people who work to make good things happen.

I like the LOTI pencil sharpening because ultimately it is a ceremony about death.
A nice tax positive op-ed in the New York Times, including this comment from a remorseful retiree in Hilton Head. We love a repentant boomer!

Knicks game 2 victory is the biggest win for socialism since the WPA
At DFL fundraiser, Kentucky Gov Andy Beshear said we need to lead with our intentions and stop talking like stuck-up libs (‘hungry’ instead of ‘food insecure’, etc.). Not my area but good speech. …is what I would have posted before he said reform and retrain ICE. Wrong fucking crowd, buddy!
I biked to Richfield for @nathancoulter.bsky.social’s campaign launch and was treated to these gorgeous clouds on the way home.
