No spring chicken anymore. Artist. Art historian just short of a degree. Still working on it. Lazy servant to a stubborn doggo. Pagan, mindful heathen with animist/buddhist tendencies.

boy #1: "Why do you eat so much soup?" "You should hydrate more." "You know what I would do different?" me: You sound like your goddamn mother. Get a job.

Boy #1: (watching documentary) Do you remember 1988? me: Sure. I graduated HS the year prior. Boy #1: Do you remember (names a random pop band) me: After 1987? Uhhhh... No. Boy #1: Why? me: 1. Art school. 2. Job. 3. Girlfriend.

My disabled mom and I are both homeless living in a cheap hotel. We are currently in danger of losing our room due to lack of funds. I honestly don’t know what to do because we have nowhere else to go. So I’m sharing this and hoping for a miracle. Literally anything helps. Thank you.

I don’t mean to spam anyone but I’d like to share this again. My disabled mom and I are both homeless, living in a cheap hotel. I’m trying to keep us here so she can heal. She has severe mobility issues and we have nowhere to go. If you’d like to help anything is appreciated beyond words.

Got out a watercolor sheet and realized that I'm old have nothing anymore. I just can't do it. Even if i have ideas... nothing. 50+ years of nothing.

Tim Curry Dolly Parton Walter Koenig Patrick Stewart These unique souls are singularly irreplaceable BUT if you want more of those able to follow in their footsteps, you protect the arts & FUND THE SHIT OUT OF IT. We don't need data centers, we need theaters & opera houses. Art is Life & Love.

If you want more Patrick Stewarts, then you publicly fund the arts and learning programs, so that working class kids can find their way into making a career in them.

We live in capitalism. Its power seems inescapable. So did the divine right of kings. Any human power can be resisted and changed by human beings. Resistance and change often begin in art, and very often in our art, the art of words.
