Now that I’m a mother, I feel a strange desire to defend my Abortifacient collection against (nonexistent) criticism. As if my choice to have a child and another person’s choice to terminate a pregnancy are not two sides of the exact same coin of reproductive healthcare access.

“Night Shift” A Father’s Day gift for my wonderful husband. He gave me three weeks of all night shift duties while I slept and recovered in another room, and I have such sweet memories of crossing paths with him at 3am when I got up to pump. He and the baby looked so beautiful in pink lamplight.
