#LogLoads64 Karate Champ This arcade game was almost mythical BITD, the artwork was brilliant and it stood tall, alone, on its own pillar. And it had TWO joysticks per player! How they thought they could replicate this on the #C64 is anyone's guess. And they failed. Miserably. This is utter dog do.

#LogLoads64 Live and Let Die The first thing you notice are the DOMARK and ELITE logos on this (if you squint) fairly nice loader. The next, when it loads, is the SID (Mark) with a little Bond melody refrain, but no Macca..? I guess not... Let's play it. OK. THEY RIPPED OFF BUGGY BOY?! #C64 Genius.

#LogLoads64 Wizardry Arguably the best thing about this game is the music, there are nine tunes in all, but you are likely only familiar with the first two. There are gabillions of arcade adventures on the #C64 and back in 1985, whilst not as gaudy as the Pendragon games, this is just a bit bland.

#LogLoads64 American 3D Pool I just played a frame of this and it is ABSOLUTELY SUPERB! If you are looking for a decent pool / snooker (only billiards!) game on the #C64 then this is it. What a charming little game. It has a load of Trick Shots to do too. I played this to death as a kid. YES!

#LogLoads64 Skool Daze Of course, this was a #Speccy game, but, as with a lot of games coded on one of the other 8-Bits, it got a port to the others. This is no different and the #C64 version is pretty nailed on. Even if it is a ponderous slog of a game mechanic, it's still quite fun. SAUSAGE!

#LogLoads64 Reloaded The Bard's Tale II: The Destiny Knight Can you even believe we played these types of games BITD with slow disk access and in some cases - loading from cassette tape..? #C64 gaming never been so fun. The worst in the original trilogy, despite some neat touches. Still a classic.

#LogLoads64 You Have to Win the Game #C64 remakes are pretty few and far between, really, but this one. Boy. It is killer, Baby. Essentially a Metroidvania Platformer, this game has some parts that are so frustrating, you will think you are going insane. But, it delivers it with such charm. >>>

#LogLoads64 Top Cat in Beverly Hills Cats I loved Top Cat the cartoon as a kid, not least as it had a cracking theme song. Gotta love a theme song. The budget #C64 outing aping Axel Foley, is, well, n'good. The best thing about it, honestly, is this charming loading screen. Watch Al82's video. Fin.

#LogLoads64 Tult64 Another BRAND NEW #C64 game and if you like your slow-burning thinker puzzler games - this is right up your Jacksey. By all accounts an original #AtariST game from 1990, now on the 64 and it is a cracking little game too. Starts off easy, gets hard FAST. Code System FTW! Brains.

This is a bit Myth, a bit Green Beret, a bit Altered Beast, a bit... IDK... It's a perfectly nice game, it just lacks something. Fun maybe.

#IndieDev games, for me, have never really been more iconically (really, Log?) featured as with this absolute STUNNER of a puzzle game @blueprincegame.bsky.social by @dogubomb.bsky.social and also #FTL and #PapersPlease and @tobyfox.undertale.com. It took me more than a year but I finally completed the final puzzle in Blue Prince. Admittedly, I did consult a walkthrough for hints and clues, but it's such an incredibly hard puzzle, I would never have been able to do it myself without outside help. Yippee!

#LogLoads64 Bug Bomber Totally passed me by BITD did this one, but then again, we had Quantum Leap, My So Called Life (❤️) and The Day Today, but as late #C64 games go: this is actually quite sweet. It's a sprite-shrunk Bomberman Ape and it works. Plenty of added actions to take. Just a bit... Meh.
