Start out slow and get used to following suggestions. Begin with simple ones that you can intentionally follow, such as raise your arm, don't move, repeat after me, etc Later move on to suggestions that your body can respond to unconsciously

I have been wanting to make my big inde game for a long time but I never knew what I wanted it to be just that I wanted it to involve a complex hypnosis mechanic like what you suggested, I am going to make this my first big game (with your permission) and get people to help
