" Well ... At least, the bright colour deflects the sunlight, instead of absorbing the heat like the dark colours you wear did. " Kaveh sighed. Another clown to track down. " I'll pull a few strings. See if we can find him. Or, what's left of him ... "

A slow nod, leaning back on his hands. “ Yeah.. he should stick out like a sore thumb.. outfit's the brightest pink I've ever seen. ” That poor clown of his probably already caught heatstroke by now. Who knows how long they've been stranded out in the hot desert.

" Ah. " Kaveh didn't like this at all. " So there's another unarmed person stranded in the desert ? And I assume their clothing isn't much different from yours. " He knew it was none of his or the tribe's business, but he was far too kind hearted to let someone die in the desert. +

A sigh, knees are brought up to his chest while he works on dusting sand off his shoes. Sand doesn't go well with his stockings. He says nothing about the unarmed part, it's not like he'd let others know that he does have a weapon on him. “ I am.. fully aware of that now. I was looking →

What an odd man, Kaveh thought. Some kind of performer, perhaps ? Judging from his appearance. He leaned back onto his hands and looked off into the distance. Sand covering everything. For some, travelling the desert was a necessity. For Kaveh, it was now his home. +

Dear god. It's a good thing he was found it seems, or else he probably would've died from dehydration and heatstroke. Resting, and occasionally fanning himself to cool himself some more. Attention captured by the leather pouch, a hand reaching to take it and drink out of it. " Thanks.. " -->

Well, Kaveh wasn't going to tell anyone.

As long as no one else found out about whatever Tartaglia was wearing , he had no problems with spending however much he needed to .

Shaking out sand from his shoes. Gosh darn it.

Well, Kaveh lived with several others. Roaming the desert alone was often the equivalent of a death sentence. Even for Vision bearers, who didn't come prepared. And he couldn't see a Vision anywhere on this man's person. He returned with a leather pouch of water, sitting down next to him +

With such hospitality towards the jester, he'd make sure not to leave any glitter anywhere. Though, it may be a hassle. “ I see that now.. I learned the hard way unfortunately.. ” A near pause in his steps, while his ears perk up in alert from the gaze from the others. →

" I would recommend that. This outfit isn't suitable for desert dwellers. " It was a little odd of an attire too ... Lots of glitter, that Kaveh didn't want on him. But to each their own, really. He headed toward the campsite with the strange man in tow. Several heads raising to look at them +

“ If I knew how rough it was out here, I would've changed clothes. ” No he would not. The heat is clearly making him delirious. The sight of the campsite catches his eye immediately, a wave of relief flowing through him. Oh, thank god there's shade. And a rather nice set up as well. →

A perfect trade. Kaveh is pleased. ✨

Grumbling , Tartaglia wandered over to prepare the mora for the other , before wandering back to hand it to him .

Well, as soon as he gets his Mora, he will leave.

【𝔗𝔞𝔯𝔱𝔞𝔤𝔩𝔦𝔞】@ofhydroheart.bsky.social · 5mo ago

Sigh . Kaveh will get his mora . The situation was terrible enough , he didn't need more attention drawn to him .

He won't say a word. As long as he gets his Mora, of course.

【𝔗𝔞𝔯𝔱𝔞𝔤𝔩𝔦𝔞】@ofhydroheart.bsky.social · 5mo ago

It one and a half million works for him . . fine , he'd be happy to offer that much . As long as Kaveh doesn't breathe a word of this to anyone . One of his colleagues already spotted him .

" You really are not equipped for this kind of environment. " Kaveh noted, also noting how the other was struggling to walk in the sand. It would've been rather humorous, if he wasn't worried about the other dying from heatstroke. The campsite came into view a few minutes later. +

The jester is following him. Though, embarrassingly enough, he's stumbling in the sand. His heels were not made for this... All because he was out searching for one of his employees that got lost.

One million is a good sum. But Kaveh will push for a little more. How about one and a half ? Million, of course.

【𝔗𝔞𝔯𝔱𝔞𝔤𝔩𝔦𝔞】@ofhydroheart.bsky.social · 5mo ago

How about a full million mora ? Would that work ? Or should he offer way more ?

♡ for an interaction. length may vary.

His visits to Sumeru City were few and far between. He mostly took the time to travel there when he wanted to trade, or when nostalgia was too much to resist. He stayed clear of busy streets, wishing not to be noticed and potentially recognised. It had been so long since he had gone +

How much is the Harbinger willing to offer ? ✨

【𝔗𝔞𝔯𝔱𝔞𝔤𝔩𝔦𝔞】@ofhydroheart.bsky.social · 5mo ago

Groans . As long as it keeps him quiet . How much is he asking for ?

Kaveh is motioning at him to follow. Why was he travelling in the desert alone, anyway ? And in these clothes too ...

✦ 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕰𝖓𝖙𝖊𝖗𝖙𝖆𝖎𝖓𝖊𝖗 ✦@entertainedmask.bsky.social · 5mo ago

Stubborn indeed. Though, he supposes he can't pass up following to rest in the shade. He is most definitely not traveling through the desert again after this.

The one thing he misses about Sumeru City ? Late night drinking at Lambad's. Alas ...

He's stubborn and he's going to make himself sick. He should, at least, follow Kaveh back to the campsite, so he can sit in the shade for a little.

✦ 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕰𝖓𝖙𝖊𝖗𝖙𝖆𝖎𝖓𝖊𝖗 ✦@entertainedmask.bsky.social · 5mo ago

The heat is most definitely the culprit, and his uniform is definitely not helping. But will he take it off? No.

The Harbinger can always BUY Kaveh's silence. 🤭

【𝔗𝔞𝔯𝔱𝔞𝔤𝔩𝔦𝔞】@ofhydroheart.bsky.social · 5mo ago

. . . He's definitely doomed if someone has already noticed .

/ i wrote learned instead of learnt because i was distracted. but i don't wanna redo the whole pinned. damnit.

Does the heat bother him ? He wears a lot of clothes ... That must be uncomfortable in the desert heat.

✦ 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕰𝖓𝖙𝖊𝖗𝖙𝖆𝖎𝖓𝖊𝖗 ✦@entertainedmask.bsky.social · 5mo ago

← Irritated clown.

Kaveh might have noticed. Snickering.

【𝔗𝔞𝔯𝔱𝔞𝔤𝔩𝔦𝔞】@ofhydroheart.bsky.social · 5mo ago

If his fellow Harbingers manage to spot him in a bunny outfit , no they didn't .

/ i caved and made the au. i'll touch up on the carrd tomorrow cause it's past 1am and my brain is fried.
