Firefox enabled Temporal by default since version 139 a year ago, and four months ago Chrome joined with version 144. Safari 26.5 released two weeks ago didn’t get the note that `Date` is outdated.

"An old trick that’s new again" indeed, now we need to treat AI crawlers like older generation of search engine crawlers. In case anyone specifically wonders how much of Claude Pro plan usage is needed for using Opus 4.7 to just *plan* a migration for a Jekyll project with 7 gems and ~40 pages of short content to Astro:

Upgraded Astro to v6 (which now has an experimental Rust-based compiler) using @astrojs/upgrade, thanks Houston. 🧑‍🚀 Yes, I did reset the changes just to re-run the upgrade for the sole purpose of recording the animation.

Shipped a small PR yesterday with just some internet searches and typing in the code changes myself - it felt weird, like I should have spent twice or thrice the time crafting a prompt in proper English sentences describing what I want to achieve.

There are many good things to say about Ubiquiti products, but the mobile app is not one of them - even a ASUS router that costs a third of the price would allow you to set up with mobile app without forcing you to sign-up for a cloud account. Luckily the good ol' Ethernet LAN way still works.

Earlier this month, IKEA debuted a tiny NFC-enabled bed that's meant to help smartphone users cut down on nighttime usage. The small "Phone Sleep Collection" is modeled after an actual IKEA bed, and it uses the IKEA app to monitor scroll-free sleep time. Users who hit seven hours of scroll-free time for a week straight are eligible for an IKEA voucher. Every phone bed comes with built-in NFC tech, making sleep effortlessly rewarding. Here's how it works: - Download the IKEA UAE app. - (For iOS users) When prompted, allow Motion & Fitness tracking. - Place your phone on its bed and tap the notification to open the app. - That's it. Your sleep time will track in the background (no counter will appear). - Complete seven nights of seven-hour sleep, and earn your voucher. Unfortunately, the tiny bed is only available in the United Arab Emirates, and it is a promotional item that IKEA is giving out when customers spend AED 750 or more in-person in IKEA, as long as the purchase includes an item from the company's Complete Sleep Collection.
