After an unfortunate, unintended delay missing its initial September 17 release date, Akiba Lost is finally releasing on Steam on October 20. This is the new sound novel that heavily resembles the presentation style of 428: Shibuya Scramble. store.steampowered.com/news/app/413...

As I replay OoT, I'm reminded of just how often Navi reminds you were to go, how your next objective is blinking on the map screen, and how the owl introduces each new area. I can already imagine people complaining that the remake is hand-holdy because they also forgot how guided the original was.

Navi: "Impa said that the Spiritual Stone of Fire is somewhere on Death Mountain."The map screen in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.Kaepora Gaebora: "I will perch here and wait for you. When you're ready to go back down, I can help you! Now, get going!"

Not really that deep into Fire Emblem stuff, but I've been seeing a lot of posts about it, including people complaining like "Why are they making sidequests and paralogues and secret upgrades so hard to find and with such a limited amount of time" and im like, guys, I think that's the point lmao

My package of Akiba Lost is still on its way from Japan, im eagerly awaiting its arrival You guys should check it out, and also tell me if I should bother making a flowchart for the game like I did for 428 lol

I believe at this moment, Akiba Lost is out on consoles. There's an issue with the Steam release where the developers submitted the game for review on Valve's end too late, so its scheduled release time didn't make the mark & it'll come out when it comes out there - hopefully soon!

Had a crazy theory about a potential final season twist for Re:Zero based off what happened in the last episode, I felt I had to share this Spoilers for everything in the anime until now. I have not read the books past S1 so don't spoil me on whatever I don't know to tell me if im wrong #ReZero

when Gluttony eats someone's memories, they eat all of their memories. Crusch doesn't remember who she is, no memories of herself even from her own birth and such. As I understand it, this is the same result for anyone who also had their memories eaten, they're left as a blank slate and have nothing to work off from their memories.
Despite this, Subaru's amnesia is specifically segmented. He lost all his memories of his time in Lagna, but remembers everything about his life back on Earth/Japan. From his perspective, he walked out of a concenience store and suddenly he was in the middle of a medieval street. Why do his memories work differently? Perhaps the assumption to be made is that the Authority of Gluttony has no effect on anything outside the scope of Lagna; after all, if the corridor of memories is connected to Od Lagna, the world's Od, then any memories outside of Lagna's scope cant be affected by the authorities within it. Okay, sure, we can work with that.
But does that also affect the books of the dead? When Subaru finds his own book and reads it, he lives through his memories of Vol 1 Chapter 1 over again, BUT he doesn't relive the memories of his past life in Japan. It starts as soon as he wakes up in Lagna, which is also exactly how the books open up (which is different from the anime having a quick flash of the convenicence store). Can the books really not cover any of his memories of his life in Japan? If someone were to read his book and experience his POV and memories, would they not already experience the memories that Subaru would be recalling in his past moment? Ruy has Subaru's memories of his parents and how he left them, yet the book itself doesn't cover that, nor does the Authority? If Ruy remembers what amnesia-Subaru never lost, then her authority didn't eat his memories, she just has the memories of Subaru remembering. Memories of Earth are exempt from the rules of the books/authority, despite these clear [...] (goes on for much longer)Here's where my theory comes into play:
What if Subaru has multiple books because... there are more than one Subaru?
What if Subaru's memories of Earth are not in his book/consumed by Gluttony because... they're not memories?

What if Subaru's life began —TRULY began— the moment he woke up in the streets of Lugunica. He may THINK he has memories of a life he's lived, one where he's the son of two parents living in Japan who dropped out of school and shut himself in his room all day, but are those memories really memories if they can't be affected or interfered by the external magic of this world?
What if every time Subaru dies, he truly dies, no way back around it. But then the world is shifted, the death and casualty of Subaru's death is erased, and a "new" Subaru appears manifest. Maybe there is no time travel in this world, maybe there is no save file reloading, there is no world "reset", it simply shifts at Subaru's death and it continues with a "new" Subaru.

So I propose this: the Subaru Natsuki we've been following this whole time isn't real.
He's a construct created somehow, maybe by Satella, who manifested in Lugunica one day for some reason. He has "memories" of a previous life, but they're not real memories, they are illusions in his mind to give him a personality and character to latch onto. He thinks he's lived a life in Japan back on Earth, but those memories are not real. In fact, maybe Earth itself is not real!! If the memories of Earth are a construct, what is to say Earth itself is also not a construct? Like the illusionary world in Echidna's graveyard for the trials. The parents Subaru talked to in S2 werent real cuz they were created by the graveyard, but what if the memories in Subaru's mind were also created in the first place? Implanted into a vessel that can mold a personality out of them? I'll talk more about Earth stuff in a sec (cuz i dont believe its not real), but lets go over the loops themselves [...] (goes on for much longer)Now, does this truly mean that there is no Earth, there is no Japan? Well, perhaps, perhaps not. After all, we do have the Pleiades Watchtower, a location enriched with knowledge of Earth, particularly that of the constellations of that other world. We have theories about Hoshin being from Japan, Flugel maybe also being from Japan, and other clues that i wont mention cuz i said this was for anime spoilers only.
If Satella created a construct of a man named Subaru Natsuki with implanted memories of a life in a world called Earth, and these memories are meant to be false ones, then why do similarities to other elements of that other world exist? It seems to me like these "fake" memories should be based on something real, something that can corroborate Hoshin and Flugel's existence as travelers from Earth. So I propose something else.

All season, Shaula has constantly stated that she thinks Subaru is her master, the sage Flugel who created the Pleiades Watchtower (which is already named after Subaru himself). This has led to theories about Subaru secretly being Flugel, maybe a past version of him who will timeloop to the past, or some other crazy conspiracy. But I propose something different:
Flugel is the original Subaru. The one and only real Subaru to ever exist. And the fake constructs we've been following all season have been created from the real Subaru's memories, from Flugel's own life on Earth.

Satella and Flugel existed together 400 years ago. Satella seems to be "in love" with Subaru. But if Subaru is a construct, does Satella love him because she manifested A Guy™ for her needs? Or because the construct is based off a person she knew in the past? Flugel, Reid, and Volcanica may have attempted to kill Satella, but isnt that what Satella wants? What Satella asked of Subaru in S2? And didn't Flugel seal her instead of kill her? Is Subaru meant to finish off Flugel's mission to kill Satella...... or is he meant to save [...] (goes on for much longer)

I think Nintendo should dig Ridley out of his grave and have him appear suddenly in Metroid 6 so that Ravenous Samus can eat him Extra points if there's no boss fight, she just jumps at him and instantly grabs on and kills him
