And if he becomes the nominee, it’s a sign he may have a better-than-other-Dems chance to win: not that the Kirk thing will matter to anyone in 2028, but that he will be willing to say things that annoy politically aware left-liberals (like me) but play well with persuadable voters.

I loved Spider-Noir if only because it was endlessly entertaining to watch one of our greatest living actors obviously having the time of his life. Like Jackson Pollack rolling in paint shouting “wheeeeeeeeee!”

Since we’re doing makeup discourse, men, you can wear makeup, and you probably should. Unless you go full glam, hardly anyone will notice because hardly anyone expects it. Just one or two steps can dramatically improve your appearance.

Lots of reasons Josh Shapiro won’t be the nominee, but this is one of them. “Lowered the flag for Charlie Kirk” is a poetically beautiful way of of saying that someone sees all the horrible things being done by the right and has decided that the best thing to do is to try to earn their votes.

This is where the 1% will go to restart civilization after a nuclear attack. But it for me thinking: what if the uber wealthy built these bunkers for more people — and not for nuclear attacks but for the climate crisis that will get us all — instead of trying to leave the planet?

This poll just says that a decade of anti-trans propaganda from the far right to the NYT has had the intended effect. I’ve had dozens of simple conversations with trans sports skeptical normies who really just want kids to have fun and quickly see what a non-issue this actually is.

Saw the new Spider-Man movie! It was great! Gay spoilers: I did not love two things: 1) Making a joke out of a guy wearing <gasp> a crop top. It’s NYC honey grow up nobody cares. And 2) Peter implausibly wearing big dumb boxer briefs under his Spidey suit and not having a VPL. Broke immersion!

I don’t know how to do this, but I feel like the LGBTQ+ community as a whole should have some kind of voting rights or ownership stake in Provincetown. Operate the town through some kind of private non-profit national park.
