lrp reminds me of folks in tabletop campaigns who say "well my *character* wouldn't go along with the quest" at every opportunity they can at some point you gotta wonder why that's the character you made if you're not gonna engage with the actual game

"why do i have to do all these chores for-" the wol likes to help people "why are these characters MAKING me-" the wol is choosing to do these things "why does this character act like we're friends-" they are

i feel like if you have a character who would not do any of the msq save for being maliciously forced into it you should probably simply not make them the wol. or at least not have that be the only lens you look at the story through
