While many voters are struggling to get by, Donald Trump made more than $2B last year alone. This is the story of so much of Trump’s presidency: an unending series of scandals that amount to the biggest act of public corruption in American history. trib.al/9ahFbPs

In no way, shape, or form does any thinking adult trust Todd Blanche. The Senate must refuse to confirm him.
The suspicious transfer of Ghislaine Maxwell is just the most visible and outrageous example of what could become a quiet attack on the rule of the law:
Todd Blanche’s New Grip on the Federal Prison System
Critics worry a little-noticed policy shift could let the attorney general reward allies, punish enemies, and sideline longstanding Bureau of Prisons processes.

Ground Control to Major Don
The president’s planet is getting farther and farther from our own.

Where can I get these 78 cent eggs? bsky.app/profile/atru...
Tom Emmer on Republicans trailing Dems by 8 points in the generic ballot: "Right now there are great things happening in our economy. Nobody wants to talk about 78 cent eggs, nobody wants to talk about milk that's under $2. No no. They want to focus on gas prices."
Here is the good news: DOJ is now 0-20 in lawsuits to gain access to voter files and tomorrow is the 90th day before the election which means states can't purge voters -- even if DOJ wants them to. The bad news: Trump won't give up trying to use DOJ to undermine the elections.
They all are responsible for the continual dismantling of our country for Trump’s self-aggrandizement and his need for lasting fame.
Shameful: The Senate Judiciary Committee voted 12-10 along party lines to advance Trump’s former lawyer Todd Blanche for attorney general. A full Senate vote could come as early as this week.
UPDATE: Today 35 former federal judges filed a comprehensive opposition to Donald Trump’s expedited motion to stay in the case of Donald J. Trump v. Internal Revenue Service. Simply put, members of the legal system are trying to put a stop to Trump's ongoing corruption.
Trump on domestic abuser Max Miller: “He’s a good person.” Trump on trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell: “I wish her well.” Trump on the Pope: “He needs to shut up!”
I’ll bet you a hot cup of coffee that Todd Blanche’s assurance that the slush fund is off the table will turn out to be utter bullshit. We will see it in some other form and convicted felons will be paid. Watch.
"The scale of public corruption right now is unimaginable. The only two people that offered tepid pushback...are retiring. What is their point of folding now?" @timmiller.bsky.social slams retiring senators who briefly pushed back against Todd Blanche, but still gave Trump exactly what he wanted.

Blanche gave Cornyn/Tillis a fake deal, which is not a legally binding modification of the original agreement signed by all parties like they demanded, & kept IRS immunity, so they can surrender while declaring victory. Just more theater from worthless Republicans in the senate.
