Inspiration ➡️ Final Shot A Pride and Prejudice 2005 reference in a horror short? It’s more likely than you think. I couldn’t think of a more powerful introduction to our leading man in the film’s through line narrative than having him stride across the field Mr. Darcy style.
Inspiration ➡️ Final Shot If you know me, you know I love deep angles and Evil Dead. Instead in “The Second Circle” we go from a heroic stance to something a lot more menacing. 🤌🏻
Inspiration ➡️ Final Shot @shaymccleavy’s contribution shot inspiration wise turned out to be one of my favorites. We had to improvise and throw away the shot list after the bathroom proved to be an amazingly tight fit for four people.
Inspiration ➡️ Final Shot I absolutely love de Palma’s 1976 adaptation of Carrie, so naturally, I had to pull from that for “The Second Circle” for this little moment of shame mixed with emotional rawness.
