GenAI companies have not seen their products reach wide enough adoption to eventually hold a market hostage and start raising prices to the obscene numbers they would need to be even one tenth as profitable as they've promised their investors.

found a whole operation of unmanned youtube channels making completely unchecked long form slop videos where the ai voice simulacra regularly trips up & does this for a full ten minutes every time. all the very legit comments are like "NO! THATS NOT TRUE! YOU LIE HE DID NOT" & never acknowledge it.

yes the plot's not inspired Yes Rosalina should have been given more screen time YES I think it had a few too many references to other IPs But I can't really be mad at #MarioGalaxy It's.. a kids movie.. for kids... I feel I can be more critical but I also feel like I got exactly what I paid for

and this is why it is so beyond important that we do not take that fucking bait. do not, ever, ever ever go in on this. This business model cannot be rewarded. Do not ever do remote computing. I'm so serious. Do not do it! use a fucking potato computer if you have to! DON'T REMOTE COMPUTE EVER

i kind of presume the data centers will be used to lease remote computers to people, instead of how in the current economy generally people own their daily drivers i sort of kind of presume all the AI stuff is a pretense to set up the infrastructure for no one ever owning their own computer
