The super cool thing about Deadlock is how you can truly tell who comes from dopamine simulators and don't care to get better and who's actually trying to put in the work and improve. The latter make for the better teammates every single time.
I think Deadlock being incredibly difficult is part of the appeal and if you can't be bothered to even read what the character you're choosing does then you probably should struggle in those 15 games to Q ranked.

It's really hard watching any fighting game streams because every. single. one. is just discourse and no actual content. Why would I want to be in a competitive community that doesn't give a shit about actually getting better in the thing they play?
I've always loved Deadlock since I started at the beginning of the year. Took a long break until this week and told myself I'd start anew, fresh start, etc. I picked up Calico one game and she's exactly how I wanna play.
So the extreme bodybuilding stuff is just body dysmorphia commercialized, right?
Part of being genderqueer is realizing like 80% of gender stuff is simultaneously anti-Black and not our fault (but still something to analyze deeply)
