had the absolute pleasure to talk to @perfectgarbage.bsky.social co-founder and grave seasons narrative director @emnays.bsky.social about dark romance and storytelling that gets my major arteries pumping 🌀🍥🌀 narrative nuance is the brass key 🗝️ to my heart ❤️ www.gamesradar.com/games/simula...

There are no right answers to the supernatural murder plot in Grave Seasons, and that "moral ambiguity" is what has me so excited about the cozy horror game

I'm so sorry for all the wonderful people at Bungie today. That level of talent is pivotal to this artform's success, and discarding it is unimaginably shortsighted and cruel. I hope everyone finds new work quickly.

You can make a game that wins accolade after accolade. You can make genre and era defining masterpieces. You can make a poorly-received game, a massive sales hit, an okay game, a solid game, a cult classic. It’s all the same to those in charge. And it’s absolutely fucking infuriating.

A pet peeve of mine is when the suffix “punk” is slapped onto a title for no reason. The punk is supposed to mean something! This is candlepunk. This is waterpunk. I’m gonna get you

I haven't played Destiny 2 since The Final Shape, an expansion I loved and was then heartbroken by when so many of its talented creators were laid off. All my passion for it went with them. I hope Destiny continues in some form, and I hope its devs are treated with care and respect in the future.

Destiny 2: Monument of Triumph artwork showing Guardians and civilians gathered on a red carpet in the Tower around a large monument beneath the Traveler, with banners and confetti framing the scene.

It’s so important to engage with other art forms as a game dev. This is a medium heavily influenced by ones older than it, for better and for worse. A lot of your favorite horror games have roots in amazing movies. And read! Please read! There are folks who think that this isn’t relevant. It is!
