Narrative Designer at Perfect Garbage, working on Grave Seasons| Prev: Contract Writer on Borderlands 4 *Opinions are my own and do not reflect the opinions or values of any current or past employers*

Just finished up STAR WARS: ZERO COMPANY, which is angling for my current GOTY. If we got a movie half as good as this, the franchise would be making billions again. Heartfelt writing, genuinely excellent voice acting and direction, and unbelievably fun tactical combat all make it a must play.

You can make a game that wins accolade after accolade. You can make genre and era defining masterpieces. You can make a poorly-received game, a massive sales hit, an okay game, a solid game, a cult classic. It’s all the same to those in charge. And it’s absolutely fucking infuriating.

A pet peeve of mine is when the suffix “punk” is slapped onto a title for no reason. The punk is supposed to mean something! This is candlepunk. This is waterpunk. I’m gonna get you
