Every once in a while I’ll somehow convince myself that maybe Peanuts isn’t that good a comic and I’ve been mistakably overhyping it my whole life. The good news is thats silly. I’ve been chuckling every few minutes reading my compilation album. Phew!

Whenever I see YouTube videos with any production value or a script and editing etc and they get to an English location like Worcestershire and then make a big show of not knowing how to pronounce it, it’s like… Google has a pronunciation feature. I dunno it just comes off as sloppy.

It would be so cool to figure out a set up to film inking videos (even with my annoying to work around tilted drawing desk). It would probs get good traction. But at the same time having to feel "observed" during one of my either zen or panicky parts of the process would feel like an interference.

The 22nd of May 2027 would mark the 10th anniversary of my stopping my daily diary comic. It would be incredibly wild to pick it up again on that date. My life is so entirely different now. I will not be doing this.

"Bold artistic choice or stubborn stupidity: local artist inks all her panel borders without a ruler. Claims she "likes the wobbly hand-made look." Critics claim she's just bad at avoiding smudges if she uses a ruler. Miss Ebrey refuses to comment. More on this story at 8."

If you're like me and have a ton of tshirts that you've totalled the pits of, either from wear or deodorant stains that you just can't remove no matter how hard you try, then may I suggest turning those shirts into tshirt tank tops? It's real easy and are great for the gym or hot days.

I’ve been rewatching a ton of old Looney Tunes this week and man I think as a kid I thought anvils were gonna be a far more regular part of my day to day life. That and outrunning lit lines of gunpowder.

TYSM for the suggestions on how to get the Peltmade plugin to work. This is genuinely how it feels to colour using it as opposed to how I'd done it before (literally using the brush tool like a small toddler filling in lines in a colouring book)

Hello! If you use the Peltmade tools in Photoshop and can send me a step-by-step guide on how to set up artwork and use the plugins, I'd be v grateful! Especially for scanned in traditional pages. I've noodled in the free demo mode and can't seem to get it right somehow. I'm bad at Photoshop lol

I can't believe I spent so many years putting off digitally pencilling my comics. I save so much time now. I wasted so many years stubbornly fetishising the continuing use of my old and faithful mechanical pencil and doubling down on my aversion of looking at a screen for every darn thing. Oh well.
