I’m not saying I’m anxious about climate change but I had a mid-morning snooze today after walking the dog and chores and it resulted in an awful nightmare where I was fleeing a forest fire and when I got to safety realised my husband and daughter were missing. Woke up very rattled.

Incidentally it has been very painful to do any bending today (car, toilet, low cupboards etc).

Did The Odyssey tonight. Loved the monsters, fights, running away etc. Less enamoured with nice Tom Holland constantly using ‘dad’ rather than ‘father’. But all in all, pretty thrilling stuff.

Curiosity piqued by book Vinted I looked myself up. !

It's all so wrong, wrong, wrong. I remember cheap 'publishing' companies in India doing this 20 years ago, pillaging the wrecked libraries of the Raj to locate and dismember books now extraordinarily rare in the West, then scan them and sell uncorrected POD versions at £20 each.

Abandoned house 3 doors down from us is looking worse than ever. Visible hole in roof with pigeons going in & out. Nobody knows if bloke who owns it is alive or not. Redbridge council aware but do nothing (or unable to do anything). Feel so sorry for my neighbours who live next door.
