the impression i have is that artists with huge followings aren't having too much trouble rebuilding on bsky, but small artists are having just as much trouble as on twitter i really urge people to retweet art. this sucks massively and im sad people need to start from scratch

Please comment on art. 1) It makes artists happy and excited 2) You can make art friends and grow your account that way 3) It is hard to notice someone by the follow notification when you get a lot of notifications.

i sure hope that bluesky will be one of those places where ppl wont be afraid/shy to talk to each other esp artists (i am also at fault for being quiet, holding back comments and such but i will try to work on it) like ye olden internet days

A gentle reminder before I fuck off to eat breakfast: The push to replace artists with AI is a fascist push. The devaluing of arts and humanities in favor of engineering and computers is a fascist push. Students being unable to read a book is, yep, a fascist push.
